Sonja K. Ruppe Endowed Scholarship

The Sonja K. Ruppe Endowed Scholarship was established to honor the life of Sonja Ruppe, a senior Education major, who passed away from an automobile accident on her way to class on September 14, 1990. Ruppe’s family and friends, sorority sisters, and the university’s Student Government Association helped build this scholarship to provide financial assistance to a new Gaffney High School graduate entering USC Upstate as a Freshman Education major. This scholarship awards up to $1,000.
