Strengthening The Nursing Faculty Pipeline in SC Scholarship

The Strengthening The Nursing Faculty Pipeline in SC Scholarship covers tuition, books, and fees for nursing students enrolled in the Masters of Science in Nursing Education Program who are committed to assuming a nurse faculty role (part-time or full-time) within 12 months of degree completion. Preference is given to students from Cherokee, Union, Abbeville, Oconee, Greenwood, Greenville, Spartanburg, Laurens, Anderson, and Pickens counties. Students must complete the graduate Rural Health in Nursing course prior to degree completion.

This scholarship awards up to $13,158.87 per academic year (cost of tuition), not to exceed the recipient’s tuition bill; there will be no refunds. The scholarship is renewable through the completion of the degree program and can provide up to $26,317.75 for tuition expenses throughout the program of study. Book expenses may be covered if tuition expenses are less than the maximum award amount of $13,158.87 per year if funds are needed by the candidate and if funds are available for that term.
