Impact Education Scholarship
The Impact Education Scholarship was established to award full-time School of Education, Human Performance, and Health students majoring in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Middle-Level Education, Physical Education, Secondary Education, or Special Education – Learning Disabilities, resulting in eligibility for a recommendation for teacher certification. The student must maintain a cumulative institutional GPA of 2.75, demonstrate financial need or hardship, and represent an underrepresented population in the field of education. The scholarship may be renewable for an additional three years, as long as the recipient (1) maintains full-time enrollment, as defined by current institutional policy for full-time course load standards for the recipient’s classification (undergraduate); (2) continues to make satisfactory progress toward a degree; and (3) continues to meet all initial mandatory scholarship selection criteria. This scholarship awards up to $1,000 per year per student.
